Complicated 03:09
Complicated This is too complicated for me And so I walk away now and just let it be I don’t enjoy it, holding onto those memories But I’ll survive without it, just wait and see It’s complicated It’s complicated It’s complicated A Mystery… Life has a way of telling me no, no, no. A car crash along black ice when we wouldn’t let go There’s no denying, this cruel part of my life story and This house of cards now, has slowly fallen. Chorus. And I’ve got plenty of reasons to let go I’ve been let down again and I heard this is the end Of me and you This is too complicated for me Let me make it simple here, it’s time to break free I’ll hold my hands up, I only saw what I wanted to see Time to wish you well now and just let it be It’s complicated It’s complicated It’s complicated A Mystery….

Day and Night Patrick and Mary are connected by night They sneak off to the bedroom under the moonlight But Pat would never say that things aren’t okay When he wakes up alone, the very next day And Mary’s got a baby that she picks up from school She’s got her hair pinned with a knife and a new tattoo The ink says LIVE FREE, but they can’t see, no they can’t see How this could be, and it’s driving them insane… They got a great table at the local jazz club Sitting in silence while the band played on Marys on her phone getting the news from back home And Patricks in a trance just trying to turn his mind off The pianos sliding sidewards out the front door They know they can’t keep this secret anymore The singer sings LIVE FREE, but they can’t see, no they can’t see How this could be, and it’s driving them insane… Holding on through the day and on through the night Right now they’re feeling alright Holding on through the day and on through the night They better watch it, watch it because… Holding on through the day and on through the night Right now they’re feeling alright And on through the day and on through the night Patrick says there’s a few months left on my lease So Mary pack your bags and follow me, but she’s long gone and he’s just a memory The graffiti spells LIVE FREE, but they cant see, no they can’t see How this could be, and its driving them insane… You better watch it, you better watch it, BECAUSE.

I'm Your Man 03:21
Im your man We just found out, some news today After all this time, there’s a baby on the way A shock to my system but I’m gonna try Not to mess it up and keep you in mind So pour the coffee down now slow and warm A new direction for the both of us So lets switch gears, the years are gonna fly Swallow down the upset that we feel inside I’ll save you if i can I’ll be there when I am This wasn’t in the plan but while I’m here Baby I’m your man in the morning Your man on the eve A chance without warning, the sun sets and leaves Your man on a Friday and all through the years Your man through the good times Your man through the tears Whisper hold me close and don’t let me down My heads been spinning and I can’t touch the ground Deep down inside you feel so alone But in reality you’re not on your own I’ll save you if I can, I’ll be there when I am This wasn’t in the plan but while Im here Chorus You said it’s different now that the clouds have gone You’ve been staring at the moon too long And I’ll try to be the sun and sea Don’t close your eyes or the horizon bleeds Chorus

Heat of the moment Jimmy’s let himself go, he’s flown right out the window But his square wheels keep him turning on the beat This priest got what he wanted, his own place behind the altar Which clears the way for Caroline to breath She works ten hours everyday to keep her bills and debts at bay While saving for a journey in July Takes two buses and a train, to get back home when it rains Afraid of heights but she loves to fly Pre chorus They try to hold their demons down They’re breaking through the skin and they’re shouting out loud Lay your weapons down, they’re down, don’t hold back That’s all we’re trying to say Chorus Heat of the moment Heat of the moment Heat of the moment It burns me.. Jimmy holds his secrets well, he doesn’t trust enough to tell How he fell hard upon a whim Down a cold wet avenue, where Caroline found refuge In a doorway dimly lit and full of sin Pre chorus Chorus They hear a message from the ether….turn it up Through the crackling speakers….turn it up Swallow your foolish pride…. turn it up Bring yourselves toward the light Turn it up, Turn it, Turn it up…. These people don’t understand This isn’t the way to go.

Redemption 03:23
Redemption Moving my body by the riverside, it’s the road I like to take 7am start in the morning, I roll out the door at 8 Cracks in the clouds and the light shines through I’m sure I know what it means But I had too many drinks last night and this could all be a dream When the weight of world, rests on your shoulders Listen to the way the wind it blows, when it goes and it says… RED EMP TION RED EMP TION RED EMP TION RED EMP TION And this I hope, ‘cause I heard it on my radio, through the stereo This I hope, I heard it on my radio, through the stereo A homeless man with a sleeping bag and thick gloves on his hands Plants his flag on a cold dark street but he holds out for the promised land When the weight of the world, streams down your face and Look at the way the moon shines through as it lights and it says… RED EMP TION..

What do you believe A girl in the corner with her high heels on she’s trying to find a taxi home The traffic lights pierce through the night, the green dot means to go The drunks with their sleeping rags, wrapped round their heads Trying to bunch together for some heat And gangs of youths they stop to look but they won’t admit defeat Sing O O O O OH OH Tell me what you see Sing O O O O OH OH And what do you believe? By the boats on the docks, the trains and the clocks pushing people to their 9-5 Whats the singer to do when he’s feeling blue except sit there for a while The policeman’s needy and he gets all weepy when he cannot see his beauty queen And the mother of tricks alarm goes off at six but she’s wakes up feeling unseen Chorus Twist and shout and sing because all that I’ve seen For the past few years was misery But you have the power to help me change my ways So raise your hands for me, raise your hands for me, raise your hands for me And what do you believe? When a man has a problem, he knows how to solve them squeezing into a old pair of shoes By the light of the day goes to the home of okay and he orders five pints of booze The girls in her taxi driving by the drunks throwing coins out through the open door The policeman’s still crying, the mother keeps trying but the singer isn’t there anymore.

The End 02:44
The End Do you wonder when the sun goes down Where am I sleeping if I’m living well Do you think about the times we had When you’re waking up with your new man Do you ever stop and cry Or do you hold your head up high And try to justify the decisions that you made This is the end for us, this is the end for you and me This is the end, for all the things we could have been It doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter, in the end Do you wonder where the time has gone When the seasons change and we’ve grown old I thought I passed you on the open road But darling I don’t know you anymore Did you even realise When you hold your head up high And try to justify the decisions that you made This is the end….

Weak old town It’s another stale night while people sleep and again I feel alone The wind howls down while the moon hangs low Lighting up this departed soul As death surrounds my weak old town, I guess it’s spilling into my days And I know again that I’m walking alone because that’s what my conscious says I believe in you and we only sing at night All the things we do we still pretend that we’re alright We’ve been down before but we’ll win no matter what I’m down and out in this weak old town, in this weak old town. The sun rises up but it still seems dark so I wander into the light And from the Gods above I’m feeling no love and I guess that there’s no other way To lie in sin but where have I been, I will leave with my head held high What happened in this town I will never know, when I got here all was fine. Chorus I believe in you, I believe in you, I believe in everything you do x3 I believe in you, I believe in you, do you believe in me..in the weak old town And I’ll see you at the edge of this weak old town..
